The best equipment for the task
PowerOn supplies systems using solar, wind and micro-hydro as the primary power generators for both stand alone (SAPS, RAPS) and grid-intertie applications. Fossil fuel backup is an option.

Photovoltaic panels
PowerOn is pleased to offer panels from Mitsubishi Electric, Helios, Symphony Energy, Schott and Isophoton. These sources allow us to select the most appropriate size of panel to suit your needs.
Outback inverters & controllers
The Outback range of inverters offers a high degree of reliability and flexibility to suit most applications. The stacking ability is unique among domestic inverters. The MX60 MPPT charge controller allows more power production from a solar array than other PWM type controllers.
Exide traction cells
Batteries are the heart of a system and are the most frequent cause of reliability & performance problems due to incorrect types & capacity selection. PowerOn only uses Exide traction cells for static systems as these offer the best price/performance/lifespan mix coupled with rugged cycling ability.
Mainland hydro
The Mainland range of hydro's offer high build quality with excellent performance & reliability. The use of cast stainless steel runners gives corrosion resistance, offering long life. Generous bearing sizes mean extended replacement intervals. Operation is also very low noise. 12, 24, 48 VDC models available.
Lorentz pumps.
Lorentz offer a range of PV direct & battery driven water pumps.
Helical rotor pumps can deliver heads up to 230m. The MPPT controller offers great flexibility in array sizing to "future proof" installation by allowing further expansion of the array to increase water delivery at a later date. Delivery pressure is almost constant from 40% of motor speed up to 100%. Stainless steel construction means a long service life and they are moderately grit tolerant.
The Badu range is suitable for swimming pool circulation and can offer large savings in system cost compared with running a conventional AC pump.
Sealed batteries
PowerOn offers a range of hybrid gel sealed batteries for specialist applications. These are available in capacities up to 3000Ah. Particularly suitable for systems where maintenance is expected to be erratic or unable to be performed for extended intervals. These cells can be stacked vertically to reduce the footprint and save space
